Terms of Service

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the JamShare mobile application and web services (collectively, the "Service") operated by JamShare ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

JamShare is a music utility that allows users to convert and share music links across streaming platforms (including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, and others) and to import playlists from one platform to another. The Service is available as a mobile application on iOS and Android and through our website at jamshare.app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

Certain features of the Service (including playlist import) require you to authenticate with third-party music platforms (such as Google/YouTube, Apple, Tidal, or SoundCloud) using OAuth. By doing so you grant JamShare limited, revocable access to your music library data solely to perform the actions you explicitly request. You can revoke this access at any time through the respective platform's account settings.

4. JamX Subscription

JamShare offers a premium subscription plan called JamX that unlocks additional features including browser-based playlist import and priority processing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

6. Third-Party Platforms and APIs

The Service relies on APIs provided by third-party music platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service:

YouTube API Services. The Service's playlist-import feature uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data collected through YouTube API Services is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You may revoke the Service's access to your YouTube data at any time through the Google security settings page.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party platforms. Changes to third-party APIs may affect certain features of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology comprising the Service (excluding third-party content) is owned by JamShare and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALL IMPORTED TRACKS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DESTINATION PLATFORM (AVAILABILITY DEPENDS ON LICENSING IN YOUR REGION).

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAMSHARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify JamX subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Delaware.
